Wright's is Serving Zeppole now through March 22nd, 2026

Saint Joseph's Day is an Italian-American tradition celebrated annually on March 19th. With roots in faith, protection, and charity, St. Joseph's day is celebrated for a multitude of reasons; the transition to warmer weather (zeppole weather), sharing with the community (i.e. sharing zeppole), and the promise of a bountiful harvest (zeppole)!

So, why do Rhode Islander's love Zeppole so much?

Nearly 19% of Rhode Island residents identify with Italian ancestry. This is higher than any other state in North America, so, it makes sense why the pastry is such a Rhode Island staple.
