Zeppole at Wright's are pâte à choux pastries with custard filling, and topped with whipped cream and cherries. This pastry originated in Naples in the 18th century when it was associated with the March holiday, Saint Joseph's Day. Due to their Italian heritage, Zeppole are especially popular in Rhode Island!
